American Gangster HD DVD and DVD Release

American Gangster, a film starring Denzel Washington, and Russell Crowe, is set to be released on HD DVD and DVD with an extra 20 minute footage. The DVD is a two disc set, while the HD DVD will carry a combo release. The street date has yet to be determined.
The movie is a $140 Million box office hit that is based on a true story about a heroin importer, the New York Mafia and an honest police officer.
