From Paramount Home Entertainment comes Beowulf, a film directed by Robert Zemeckis, slated for release on DVD (Regular Edition and Director’s Cut) and HD DVD in February 26, 2008.

The regular edition DVD will feature English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks, anamorphic widescreen and a featurette called, “A Hero’s Journey: The Making of Beowulf.”

The Director’s Cut will include the same features as the regular edition, plus:

• Origins of Beowulf
• Creating the Ultimate Beowulf
• Art of Beowulf

The HD DVD release will come in Hi-Def transfer, 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD tracks. On top of the materials found in the Director’s Cut DVD, it will also have – Conversation with Robert Zemeckis, more additional scenes and more featurettes on the stunts, art design, props.
